With six drivers vying for two spots in the championship race, this weekend’s race will be a battle. This battle will take place at the ISM Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Bluegreen Vacations 500. This will be the final race before next week’s championship race at Homestead.

With Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick already having qualified for Homestead, the other drivers that are still alive will be racing for one of the final two spots.

Let’s take a look at the NASCAR Betting favorites to take home the checkered flag this Sunday in Phoenix.

2019 Can-Am 500 Odds, Preview & Expert Prediction

Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch loves racing at Phoenix. He has won the last two times he has raced here. He has also finished in the top five in seven of his last eight starts at the ISM Raceway.

Busch is sitting in third place in the playoff point standings and barring a disaster, would qualify for the championship race, but he’d rather not chance it and take the victory this weekend to qualify.

Joey Logano

Logano is sitting in fourth in the playoff standings. Since winning at Phoenix in 2016, Logano has struggled at this track. As of now, he’s in the championship race.

He will look to play it safe and hold on to his spot, but if he can sneak in a victory, he’d take the automatic berth in the title race next Sunday.

Kevin Harvick

By winning last Sunday in Texas, Harvick has already qualified for the championship race. Harvick has won seven of his last 14 starts at the ISM Raceway. Even though he has already qualified, he’d love to keep some of the other drivers out of the title race, so he’ll be racing to take another win and spoils someone else’s hopes of winning this year’s title.

Denny Hamlin

Hamlin is currently in fifth place in the playoff point standings. Hamlin hasn’t had the best of luck at Phoenix, but he does have one career victory here.

He has raced well on short tracks this season, so that bodes well for him this weekend. Hamlin has raced well as of late, so he hopes to keep the momentum going.

Chase Elliott

Desperate times bring desperate measures, and Chase Elliott is a desperate man. He must win this race to qualify for a chance to win the title at Homestead.

He has struggled the past two races, so he will need to turn things around at Phoenix. He’ll have to pull out all the stops if he wants a chance at the title.

Kyle Larson

Larson is tied for sixth in the playoff point standings with Ryan Blaney. In his last six starts, Larson has a second and third place finish at ISM Raceway.

His chances are slim of getting in on points, so he really needs to win this race. If Larson doesn’t win, he needs some of the drivers ahead of him to not finish the race, or he is in danger of not qualifying for a title shot at Homestead.
