2019 US Grand Prix Odds, Preview & Prediction

Will this finally be the race where Lewis HamUilton is coronated as this year’s Formula 1 World Champion? The Formula 1 Circuit will travel to the United States of America to find out, as this weekend’s stop is in the North American Country for the United States Grand Prix. The race will be ran on the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

Not only will there be a battle between the drivers, but the teams will be battling as well. Mercedes drivers currently hold the top two spots in the driver standings, while Ferrari drivers are sitting in third and fourth. Each of these teams would love to take home another victory this season.

Let’s take a look at the F1 Betting favorites to take home the checkered flag at the United States Grand Prix.

2019 US Grand Prix Odds, Preview & Prediction

Lewis Hamilton

With a victory here, Hamilton can clinch his sixth world championship. After winning last weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix, Hamilton creeped closer to the world championship. He has now won 10 of the 18 Grand Prix races this season. Hamilton currently has 338 points and has a 74-point lead over Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas.

Regardless of whether he wins this race or not, barring a huge disaster, Hamilton will win the world championship. He’s just hoping that his world title comes along with a victory in Austin, Texas, which would be his sixth career US Grand Prix win.

Valtteri Bottas

Bottas still has a chance, albeit a slim one, at winning the world championship. He will need an epic collapse from Lewis Hamilton, plus he will need to do some winning.

To prevent Hamilton from winning the title this weekend, Botta will need to win the US Grand Prix, plus hope that Hamilton finishes outside the top eight. Bottas has three wins on the season, and would love nothing more than to win number four this weekend.

Sebastian Vettel

Vettel is currently sitting in fourth place in the driver standings, sitting just six points behind Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc. Kimmi Raikkonen won this race last year, and Hamilton had won the six prior to that, and Vettel won prior to Hamilton’s streak.

Vettel finished second in last weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix, so he has momentum heading into the United States Grand Prix. Vettel will be looking to climb up the driver standings, so he’ll want to race well this weekend.

Charles Leclerc

The Team Ferrari driver has two wins on the season, and is looking to keep his hold on third place in the driver standings. Leclerc was disappointed with his fourth place finish at last weekend’s Mexican Grand Prix. Leclerc has raced well in qualifying this week, and he’s hoping that Ferrari will go all out to help him finish as high as possible.

Leclerc hasn’t won since the Italian Grand Prix in early September, so he’s hungry for a victory. He has claimed the pole position in five of the last six races, so he’s running a very fast car right now. He’s hoping that speed carries into the weekend, and a trip to the top spot on the podium.
