The NASCAR Xfinity Series is heading to the Keystone state for a weekend full of racing. Long Pond, Pennsylvania is the home of the Pocono Raceway, and will host the first of the weekend’s two Xfinity Series races. First up will be Saturday’s Pocono Green 225. The first race of the doubleheader will be full of surprises, as the drivers will try to tame the triangle-shaped raceway. With three tricky turns and the chances for some fast racing on the straightaways, there will be some exciting racing. Let’s preview some of this Saturday’s favorites, along with their NASCAR odds, to take the checkered flag at the Pocono Green 225.

Some of the younger drivers have yet to see a place like Pocono. With the track being part road course with tough turns, and then going into some fast straightaways, the drivers will need to adjust to the different setting. It will be interesting to see how some of the young racers handle this type of track.

Chase Briscoe + 250

With his three victories and two other top-five finishes on the season, Briscoe is the favorite to win Saturday’s race. Briscoe struggled last week at Talladega, so he’ll be looking to bounce back this weekend. Briscoe finished third in last year’s Pocono Green 225. With this being his third career start at Pocono, Briscoe will be fighting hard for his first career victory here.

Noah Gragson + 550

With two wins and seven top-five finishes on the season, Gragson currently leads the Xfinity Series driver point standings. In his one career start at Pocono, he finished in sixth place. Gragson has been a contender in almost every race this season, so look for him to be in contention on Saturday.

Justin Allgaier +840

Allgaier has been struggling as of late, finishing outside of the top 20 in his last three starts. Coming to Pocono may be what Allgaier needs to get back into the top tier of contenders. Allgaier has raced well on 2.5 mile tracks, finishing in the top-five in eight races. His best finish at Pocono is second, so look for him to get back on track on Saturday.

Ross Chastain +880

Coming off of a third place finish at Homestead, and a second place finish at Talladega, momentum is on Chastain’s side. Unfortunately, he has struggled at Pocono, finishing outside of the top 10 in all four of his Xfinity Series starts. Chastain does have momentum on his side, so look for him to be at or near the top of the pack.

Daniel Hemric +1320

Hemric could be a value play on Saturday. The Pocono Raceway has been good to Hemric, as in his last six starts in the Xfinity Series and the Gander Outdoor Truck Series, he has finished in the top 10 four times. His best finish at Pocono was a third place finish in this race in 2018. Hemric will be looking to make his mark on the Xfinity Series this weekend, and a victory here on Saturday would be huge for him.
