PGA Travelers Championship – Golf News & Odds

Written by on June 23, 2020

The PGA Tour has gotten off to a great start with two fun tournaments won by Daniel Berger and Webb Simpson. The weekend in South Carolina was great, with tons of guys in the mix coming down the home stretch. After two tournaments in the South, The PGA TOUR switches gears a bit this week as we head north to Cromwell, Conn., for the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands. Let’s take a look at some of our betting picks, along with their Golf odds, to walk away with the title at the PGA Travelers Championship.

PGA Travelers Championship Betting Preview

Justin Thomas +1200

Justin Thomas was red hot over the weekend, and especially on Sunday. Thomas fired a great round to get himself into contention. The rain delay did not help, as he missed a birdie putt, and it was not enough. His Top 10 finish was his fourth in his last five starts. Thomas has two wins this season, and missed the cut just twice in 11 starts.

Brooks Koepka +2000

Koepka was another guy that was really good on Sunday. It was about time for Koepka as it was his first finish inside the Top 30 this season. Koepka came away with two eagles, four birdines and two bogeys. He will look to build off that for this event. This seems like a great course set up for an improvement elite player.

Bubba Watson +2800

Watson has finished inside the Top 10 three times this season, and made the cut 9 out of 12 times. Watson fired a 65 on Sunday to finish 7th place. If that is not enough, this is a guy that has been impressive here before. He is looking for his fourth title at this course. This seems like a great spot to throw some money on Watson.

Viktor Hovland +4000

This guy is going to win another tournament, and he is going to do so impressively soon. He fired a 66 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 21st place. He got off to a great start with an eagle on hole one. Hovland will look to clean up his short game, which will be make or break for him. Hovland has made the cut 9 out of 13 times this season, and been in the Top 10 twice. If he does come away with a win, it will be his second this season. Listed at +4000, Hovland is in a great shape for the weekend.

Kevin Streelman +10000

Looking outside the box here. Streelman is 34th on the money list heading into this event. He finished 90th at RBV and 80th at the Charles Schwab. While recent form is not great, this is a guy that fits the course, and likes the course. He is going to be cheap to bet on, and cheap at DFS sites. Worth a gamble at +10000.

Best of luck and enjoy the weekend of golf!
