Expert Analysis

As you can see, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are favored to win it all next season despite losing Super Bowl 52 to Philadelphia and they probably should be, seeing as how they’re a perennial powerhouse that has won two of the last four Super Bowls. New England needs to address it defense, but that’s about it as they can still put points on the board with any team in the league. With superstar quarterback Carson Wentz back under center next season, Philadelphia could be even better in 2018, which makes their +700 odds look more attractive to me than New England’s. Of course, the Birds will need to retain some of their key players like rookie running back Corey Clement, but I believe they will do just that and add to their core group of young players in this year’s NFL Draft. Scary is a word I’d use when it comes to the Eagles right now! The Green Bay Packers are an +800 pick, but that’s a bit too high right now, even if they do have the best quarterback on the planet in Aaron Rodgers. Save your money, Green Bay has too many issues to fix this offseason and right now, they’re behind teams like Philadelphia, New Orleans, the Rams and Vikings if you ask me! Right now, the Saints are offering stupendous value at the Super Bowl 53 Odds. For me, the Saints and Jaguars are both offering some stupendous value according to their Super Bowl 53 Odds at +1850 and +2000 respectively. The Saints were outstanding on both sides of the ball this season and would have reached the NFC Championship were it not for the fluke of all flukes against Minnesota. Jacksonville almost upset New England in the AFC Championship losing 24-20 with mediocre quarterback Blake Bortles under center.

Excellent Value

I’m also going to say the Los Angeles Rams are offering some excellent value, seeing as how they now look like a force to be reckoned with under head coach Sean McVay. If the Rams can improve just a bit, mostly on defense, they could take another step toward reaching Super Bowl 53 after going from worst to first this past season while completely transforming their franchise under their first-year head coach. Last but not least, the Seattle Seahawks are also offering some nice value as a +2500 pick if you ask me. Sure, the Seahawks aren’t the same perennial powerhouse they were a few seasons ago, but I’m thinking Seattle could get right back in the Super Bowl mix with a few shrewd offseason free agent acquisitions and a smart NFL Draft. Let’s not forget they’ve got an MVP caliber quarterback in Russell Wilson and a defense that is still very good, if not quite as good as they were in their Legion of Boom heyday! There’s plenty of value on the board and a handful of teams that could quite literally win it all next season besides New England. Happy Hunting!
