Written by on March 31, 2021

We move to the month of April, and the betting odds for the Central Division of the National Hockey League have moved a little bit. It’s been an interesting race, and we expect it to be the last 20+ games of the season. Let’s take a look at the Updated Betting Odds to win the Central Division in 2021.

Update Odds to win the 2021 NHL Central Division

Tampa Bay Lightning -170

The defending Stanley Cup Champions are once again one of the top teams in the National Hockey League. Tampa Bay barely leads the divisional race, but this still appears to be the team to beat. Tampa Bay is the leading scoring team in all of the league with 123 goals. Viktor Hedman is one of the top assist guys in the league with 27 on the season.

Carolina Hurricanes +180

The Hurricanes are a fun team to watch, and playing well as the end of March arrives. The Hurricanes are on a three game winning streak, with back to back wins over Tampa Bay. This is a team that is well rounded, ranking in the Top 10 in both goals scored and least goals allowed. Sebastian Aho leads the team with 33 goals, including 15 goals.

Florida Panthers +750

Joel Quenneville has his Panthers ready to compete on a nightly basis Florida is +17 in the goal differential department this season. The Panthers have found a star in Jonathan Huberdeau, as he continues to light the lamp at a high pace. Florida is one of the top offensive teams in the league, as they continue to assault the opponents, with nearly 35 shots per game.

Nashville Predators +12500

The Predators have put themselves into playoff position with back to back wins over the Blackhawks, and five straight overall. The Predators are getting better goaltending from their veteran Pekka Rinne. He has won his last three starts, allowing just 2 goals per game during that time. The Predators are going to have to stay red hot to win the division, as they are 13 points back.

Dallas Stars +15000

This is a team that made the Stanley Cup Finals a season ago. Dallas is 6 points back of a playoff spot, and will need to get hot to get into position. One good thing for the Stars – they have played 4 games less than the 4th and 5th seed in the division. Dallas has been pretty average all season, playing at +1.

Chicago Blackhawks +15000

While the Blackhawks have been a fun surprise through most of the season, this team is not going to win the division. The Blackhawks are +15000, which would be great money, but too steep of a hill to climb for Chicago to win the division.

Columbus Blue Jackets +15000

The Blue Jackets are just 3 points back of a playoff spot. Columbus has already lost 8 games in overtime this season. The Blue Jackets are amazingly -26 on the season.

Detroit Red Wings +350000

The Red Wings would literally need a miracle to win the Central Division. Detroit is bound to finish last in the division.

Enjoy the rest of the season on ice!
