After 10 days off for an international break of UEFA Nations League and EURO 2021 qualifying, the top soccer leagues in Europe are back in action this weekend. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest games in the various European leagues this weekend and what the Soccer odds are.

UEFA Betting: Top European Games to Watch This Weekend

English Premier League

The top game in England on Saturday is the Merseyside Derby in Liverpool between Everton FC and Liverpool FC. These rivals are separated by one mile. Seriously. The stadiums are on opposite sides of Stanley Park in Liverpool.

After four games this season, Everton is in first place with 12 points, while last year’s champions, Liverpool, is in fifth place with nine points. Everton is a +270 underdog with Liverpool at -123 and a draw at +287.

Free Pick: Liverpool (-123). The Reds haven’t lost to their rivals in exactly 10 years, winning 11 and drawing 11 in that span.

The other big game in the EPL this week is also on Saturday as Arsenal FC travel to Manchester City FC. Arsenal is off to a better start this season with three wins in four games, and they sit in fourth place with nine points.

Man City has played just three games with one win and one draw, putting them in 14th place.

These teams split games over the summer, with Arsenal winning 2-0 in the FA Cup and Man City winning 3-0 in league play. Prior to the FA Cup loss, Man City had won seven straight against Arsenal by a combined 20-2 score. Arsenal is a +508 underdog at City (-243) with a draw at +388.

Free Pick: Manchester City (-243). City should be able to get back on track at home, where they are a well-oiled machine.

Bundesliga

Just three games into the season, and there’s a surprise at the top of the table, with FC Augsburg, Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig tied with seven points. Two of those teams face off Saturday as Augsburg hosts Leipzig. Augsburg finished 15th in the 18-team league last year, 30 points behind third-place Leipzig.

Augsburg is a +408 home underdog with a draw at +330, and Leipzig is -117.

Free Pick: Leipzig (-117) Augsburg hasn’t given up a goal in their last two games, but Leipzig has eight goals in three league games and should move to the top of the table.

The other big game Saturday morning is Borussia Dortmund at Hoffenheim. Dortmund has six points on two shutouts but also lost 2-0 at Augsburg. Hoffenheim upset Bayern Munich 4-1 at the end of September but followed that up with a 2-1 loss at Frankfurt.

Both teams have six points on the season, and the visitors are favored at -142. A draw is +316 and Hoffenheim is +295 to win.

Free Pick: Draw (+316). Both teams can score, and neither has a draw yet this season.

Serie A

Four of the top five teams go head-to-head this weekend in Italy. The top game is the Derby di Milano between A.C. Milan and Internazionale.

A.C. Milan are 3-0 on the season with three shutouts and seven goals scored, good enough for second place on goal differential. Internazionale have two wins and a draw with seven points placing them fourth. They have scored 10 goals but allowed six.

In the Saturday contest at their shared San Siro, Inter is +124, AC Milan is +192 and a draw is +244.

Free Pick: Internazionale (+124). Their rivals have yet to allow a goal this season but Inter has won four in a row in this derby and has the firepower to make it five.

Meanwhile, first-place Atalanta travels southwest to Napoli, which was unable to play its last game because of COVID. Atalanta has nine points with 13 goals in three wins this year. Napoli won the two games they played and have not allowed a goal this season.

Saturday’s contest has Napoli a slight favorite at +143 for Atalanta at +152 and a draw at +267.

Free Pick: Atalanta (+152). Napoli hasn’t played in weeks while dealing with COVID, and Atalanta’s system is not what they want to face in their return.
