2024 NFL Season | 105th season of the National Football League
Regular Season: September 5th, 2023 – January 5th, 2024

Denver Broncos: 5.5 Wins

This is going to be a bad football team. The Broncos let Russell Wilson go, and now they are going to use Jarrett Stidham under center. We do not have much faith in Stidham, and have not seen the Broncos put together a plan to be better for the 2024 season. The Broncos will have to play the Chiefs twice, the Chargers twice, and we expect Los Angeles to be better prepared with Harbaugh as their new head coach. 

Lastly, the Raiders twice. While this may not be an overly talented Vegas team, they are going to be prepared, and we feel they will be better than the Broncos. We are taking the Denver Broncos as a team that completely upsets in 2024 and goes UNDER the win total, and battles for the top pick in 2025.

Seattle Seahawks: 7.5 Wins

The Seattle Seahawks have always kind of been a gritty, tough, never back down type of team. Now, they have a new coach, and some new leadership. The first year in the National Football league is going to be a big time adjustment. We like the Seahawks to be a complete upset type team  going UNDER their 7.5 wins. 

The 49ers are the class of the NFC, while the Rams still have solid talent, and Arizona is on the rise. We predict the Seahawks to finish last in the division, and start their rebuild to a new look team over the next several seasons. Seattle out of the NFC is our biggest upset team.

Carolina Panthers: 4.5 Wins

In year two, we are going to find out if Bryce Young is just not in a very good spot, or if he is the reason the Carolina Panthers are not progressing. The problem was the Panthers were the worst team in the league a season ago, and still did not get a chance to take the top pick. What do the Panthers have to look forward to in 2024? Carolina plays out of the NFC South, certainly a division where you can find wins. 

But, in 2024, all three of the other teams in the division are lined up to be more competitive than Carolina. We like the Panthers to be another NFC team that completely upsets in 2024. The Panthers go UNDER the 4.5 wins, and could be the worst team in the league for the second straight season.

Indianapolis Colts: 9 Wins

This is more about the rest of the AFC South than it is the Indianapolis Colts. The Texans are the talk of the town. The Jaguars still have plenty of pieces, and still can string wins together, and the Titans are going to have a major chip on their shoulder. To have the Colts go .500 or above just does not seem like the best choice.

Indianapolis is fine, but they are a .500 team at best. 9 wins means they finish 9-8. We like our chances at 8-9 or 7-10 for Indianapolis. We are going to take the Colts as our fourth team in the National Football League to be complete upsets in 2024.

Cleveland Browns: 8.5 Wins

Oddsmakers are right on the money with the Cleveland Browns. Except the hook is what is going to get bettors when they take Cleveland. We like the Browns to be 8-9. Is that a complete upset in 2024?  Well, it is an upset. The AFC North is loaded with talent. Baltimore was the best team in the league a season ago. 

Cincinnati is back to being healthy. The new-look Steelers are ready to prove they had a trip to the postseason that was not a fluke. It would not shock me if the winner had 10 wins, but everyone below was right around .500. The Browns finish last in the division, and under 9 wins. Just a lot of question marks remain about the offense of the Cleveland Browns. We are not in a position to advocate for them to be a top tier team in the league. 

Take Cleveland as a complete upset team in 2024.

Minnesota Vikings: 6.5 Wins

It’s a new look Minnesota team. No longer is Kirk Cousins the signal caller for the Vikings. Justin Jefferson is there, but will anyone be able to get him the ball effectively enough? The Vikings are in a division that is going to be one of the best in the league. Detroit was really good a season ago. 

The Packers continued to get better, and should be able to contend this season, and the Bears are the talk of the league with their new talent. The Vikings may be the punching bag for the 2024 season. Look for Minnesota to be well under the 6.5 wins, which makes them one of the teams we have for the complete upsets in 2024.
